We have partnered with recruitment specialists Acorn to create an employment hub for the Llanelli and wider Carmarthenshire area for individuals interested in the construction industry. As two specialist businesses with a wealth of construction knowledge we would like to use the monthly hubs to help local individuals initiate, restart or further their careers in construction.

The Pentre Awel project is a multi million pound development for Carmarthenshire Council and the local community featuring a new state of the art leisure centre and educational facilities.
This innovative employment approach fits perfectly with the ethos of the project.
Participants will be welcomed on-site for an informative 2 hour session which will give local job seekers the chance to see what we do, how we do it and most importantly how they can be a part of it.
In each session we will run through the current and upcoming job vacancies and help you access them.
This is the simplest and easiest way of accessing jobs on this construction site both with Bouygues but also their supply chain of specialist contractors.
We will spend the time helping participants learn about different roles on site, not by telling them, but by showing them. We will introduce them to people who have been in their situation, and help them understand what challenges they face, what behaviours they will need, and what they can expect from a construction job on this site and in the industry in general.
Our aim is for participants to leave full of knowledge and inspiration and fully prepared for an opportunity on-site.
Whether you are new to construction or an experienced worker this is the perfect way to give you the best chance of gaining work on this site
Who should apply?
