Acorn awarded place on public services supplier framework
One of the UK’s leading recruitment agencies, Acorn, has been awarded a place on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Permanent Recruitment framework (RM6229) for the Public Sector.
The new two-year agreement will be rolled out across Acorn’s branches and specialist divisions to support the fulfilment of roles in administrative, corporate, finance, purchasing, policy, digital, data, project delivery and multiple other public sector functions throughout the UK.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
Acorn has over 30 years of experience providing recruitment services to the public sector and, out of more than 30,000+ UK registered recruitment agencies, has been consistently listed within the top 15 agencies for services to the public sector. Since 2015, Acorn have also successfully supplied the Non-Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staff framework.
Louise Bevan, Director of Operations – Public Sector at Acorn, said: “It is a great delight to us that we have been awarded a place on the new framework to supply permanent workers to clients working across the public sector within the UK.
“We have worked long and hard over three decades in business to create and maintain a well-established and trustworthy reputation for delivering highly effective recruitment services across all the specialist divisions we operate here at Acorn, including within the public sector.”
“We are really excited as a team to now be building further on the work we have put in around the support of the public sector within the UK, therefore, over the next few years too. In the last 12 months Acorn’s Public Sector team has grown significantly and has big plans to recruit more Consultants before the year is out and beyond.” Louise added.
Crown Commercial Service is made available to support the needs of organisations operating in central and local government, the NHS, the emergency services, housing associations, education providers, charities and other devolved administrations.
It supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services, and helped it to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn — supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers — in 2020/21.
