39.5 hours per week - day shift (4 days a week, plus Saturdays)

£12.21p/h

Acorn Recruitment are working with a logistics company based in Haverfordwest seeking a warehouse / forklift operative for an initial temporary period, leading to temporary to permanent opportunities for the right worker. £12.21p/h rising to £16.28p/h for anything over 40 hours per week.

Job duties:

* Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking

* Loading customers orders directly into their vehicles and preparing order to be delivered directly to farms

* Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner

* Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action

* Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the correct manner

* Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards

* Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling

Key Requirements

* Able to drive a Counterbalance Forklift, with appropriate valid licence(s)

* Able to carry out a manual handling role

* Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative

* Professional towards supporting customers needs

* Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
