Come make a real difference as the new Head of Assets for Two Rivers Housing.
Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home.
As our Head of Assets, you'll play a key role in making this a reality for thousands of families in our communities. Working closely with our tenants, you'll drive investment in their homes helping us tackle fuel poverty, meet our net zero targets and ensure that we meet and exceed Decent Homes Standards.
You'll be part of the senior management team and work across the organisation to deliver a great customer experience, leading on maintenance surveying, major works programmes and disrepair claims as well as managing the operational delivery of our EPC C programme.
You'll take a data-led approach to planning our investment programme utilising the information gathered from our stock condition survey programme to make informed decisions and managing the team and contractors to ensure we deliver against it.
Using your knowledge and expertise, you will also support the development of our new Asset Management, Environmental and Development Strategies working with the wider team to ensure that these deliver the best outcomes for our tenants.
What you'll bring to our team
Focussed on providing a great customer experience, you will improve our services to support the delivery of our ambitious corporate strategy. You'll be a dynamic, values driven leader who will inspire the team to put customers at the heart of everything they do and ensure that they have the right training and support in place.
As a member of the Senior Management Group, you'll identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that we meet our legal, compliance and regulatory obligations in your area of expertise.
What we are looking for
- An experienced manager who has led multi-disciplined teams and worked with external contractors.
- Skilled and experienced in asset management, energy improvements, maintenance, delivering and planning maintenance works within a housing association or closely related field.
- Knowledge and expertise in key areas including Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS, energy improvements and improving customer satisfaction.
- A clear understanding of risk management.
- Ability to create and deliver operational and strategic asset management plans.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or significant sector experience.
- Relevant management qualification, such as ILM, CMI.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
- Full driving license and have access to a car insured for business use.
- NEBOSH, IOSH qualification or similar.
- Working towards RICS or CIOB accredited
Key Details
- Salary up to £66,107 (along with essential car user allowance of £1,450 per annum).
- Full-time and permanent contract.
- Location: Newent, Gloucestershire, with hybrid and flexible working (required onsite 4 days per week).
