Acorn by Synergie is partnering with a catering specialist based on-site in Newport to recruit a Kitchen Porter. This is a Monday to Friday, daytime role with hours varying between 6am and 6pm.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Responsible for cleaning cutlery, crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Carry out general cleaning and support tasks as required.

• Ensure all cleaning is done to a high standard, adhering to health & safety regulations.

• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required.

• Punctual and reliable with strong time management skills.

• Presentable appearance with high standards of personal hygiene.

• Able to understand and communicate in English at a working level (spoken and written).

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Able to remain calm and effective in a high-pressure environment.

• Flexible and willing to support other roles or duties as needed.
