Job position: Workshop Assistant

Location: Dawlish

Employment type: Temp- Permanent

Working hours: Monday- Friday- 8.30am - 5.30am

40 hours a week

Pay rate: £12.21ph

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Workshop Assistant to join a well-established manufacturer who specialisie in marine propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Loading and unloading deliveries and containers using a forklift.

· Moving large/heavy items around the factory floor with a gantry crane or forklift.

· Cutting large materials (metal shaft bars/tubes) with a band saw, ready for machining.

· Checking deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any damage or missing items.

· Packing orders into wooden crates and securing lids using a hand drill.

· Assisting with various tasks on the workshop floor as required.



Requirements:

· A proactive, hands-on attitude.

· A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

· Experience with forklifts and cranes is an advantage, but not essential.
