Acorn by SYNERGIE is searching for a Process Operator to join our client, a manufacturing business based near Chorley, Lancashire.

The purpose of the role is to batch manufacture the range of products by retrieving, weighing and blending the ingredients. Monitoring of equipment and recording information to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

Duties include:

* Manufacturing products according to details and instructions stated on the formulation batch sheet and specification, and to report any deviations from these procedures immediately to the appropriate parties.

* Carry out batch testing including pH, viscosity, colour, odour and appearance.

* Make accurate additions or adjustments to the process when instructed by Laboratory Staff.

* To complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

* FLT operator duties as required [subject to licence].

Hours of work are 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm - 6pm on Friday (38hrs per week).
