Maintenance Engineer - Plymouth

We are a manufacturing company based in Plymouth, and we specialise in the use of robotic automation in our products. We are looking for a talented Robot Engineer, to join our friendly and dynamic team.

Reporting to the Head of Automation, the Robot Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of robotic pick and place systems, welding processes, and the fault diagnostics of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Engineer, ideally in a manufacturing setting.


The key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Completing robotic programming to ensure maximum efficiency and performance
* Performing regular maintenance and providing effective fault diagnostics
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvement strategies
* Ensuring product quality and safety meet the required standards
* Providing engineering equipment with the necessary components
* Trouble-shooting any potential problems in the robotic system
* Liaising with other departments to ensure production processes are efficient
* Accurately record data and ensuring preventative maintenance procedures are adhered to
