As a community employer, we are focused on building relationships and supporting our local communities in many different ways.
This summer, we’re offering the unique opportunity to champion your local heroes in the community by winning exclusive sponsorship! We believe in the power of sports to bring people together, foster community spirit, and nurture future champions.
Now, we want to hear your stories.
Whether you are part of a swimming team, gymnastics group, dance troupe, football club, rugby squad, hockey team, cheerleading squad, basketball team, tennis group, boxing club, or even a surfing, volleyball, or wrestling team – here’s your chance to win sponsorship to support your local heroes with equipment, kits and more.

What happens next?
Our judging panel will review your submission. The winner will be announced on W/C 9th September 2024. If you win, you will be contacted to receive your sponsorship and to arrange publicity.

Important information – Terms and conditions
Duration
The competition will take place from Thursday, 25th July 2024 to Thursday, 4th September 2024 offering sponsorship for your local team and group.
Submission
All entries must be submitted using the provided form. Ensure your story is compelling and includes the necessary details about your team’s impact and aspirations.
Eligibility
The competition is open to local community sports teams and groups.
Judging
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will evaluate based on the passion, dedication, and community impact demonstrated in your story.
Announcement
The winner will be announced [W/C 9th September 2024] and will be contacted directly to arrange the sponsorship.
Sponsorship
The sponsorship will be provided by Acorn, and therefore, any physical items such as kit or water bottles will be branded with our company logo.
Publicity
The winner will be expected to take part in photo and PR opportunities, which will include online content.
No cash alternative will be provided.
Acorn reserves the right to withdraw or amend the campaign due to circumstances beyond our control.
